In Dublin´s Fair City photo Tony O'Shea 1984
It is not obvious that the photographer takes pictures of the reporter's texts, it may in fact be just the opposite! I had the privilege of working with a global name, Tony O'Shea, known for his amazing photo and not the least sarcastic comments ...
During the same time, it was some work for the ewspaper Brukshunden. At the Stockholm exhibition in the early 1990s, photographer Gunnar Lindgren announced that he would continue to be the editor ... If he said he would run away abroad and become circus knife-thrower in a circus he would not have been greater sensation!
I did know and appreciate Gunnar as a skilled photographer, but editorship requires so much more ...However, had G had it in him; on his diligent and patient manner Gunnar Lindgren has acquired even that bit of newsskills, journalistic responsibility, finance, negotiating with printers ... It was the beginning of a long relationship that continues.
Gunnar saw (hopefully) a diamond in the rough ... came up with creative suggestions and advices: "Write short! Cut! otherwise I do it ... Kill your Darlings! Remove! Make fotnotes ..."Journalist simple rules for the spinal cord: Writing neutral and with determination, just take what is true and relevant. The fine art of finish in time! I had to retrain myself to parliamentary reporter, learn to find in politics mazes, to know people ... Years with G as the editor learned the hack.

Now it´s all over.
