My dear husband left this morning to spend the day with our son in law, probably to do man-to man stuff, like rowing, fishing, imbibing pints and such.






Myself I did a lot of hoursework and now have plenty of time to ponder on my whereabouts...






At least there are some decent programs on the telly tonight. About time! Yesterday evening when I was looking forward to Midsomer Murder, my husband put a damp cloth on my anticipations and told me that there were only Lark in the Park from Öland (The Crown Princess Birthday) - Yuk!






These are my Summer Resolutions:






* I will knock off some more kilos and get into shape (i.e.to fit into the new tweed blazer from Knockabouts).






* I will do my back excercises without failur.






* I will be more kind to people, even those who does not deserve it.






* I will find it in my heart to forgive my enemies their multiple sins.






* I will pay my bills in time, at least befor the turn out to be red bills.






* I will try to win with grace and to accept the inevitable losses with a minimum of personal pain.






* And - after having to endure listening to the disgusting noisome neighbours´ garden parties last weekend - north, south and probably even east of our house - I have woved to never touch alcohol (at least not outdoors and after midnight).



Without the civilizing influence of work and other obligations city folks return to the wild.
