I had thought of getting me another pup from Sweden and luckily for me someone else got the puppy before me. Now the sire of the litter was eye examinated and he has retinopati. So this pup could have bee ill herself. And still can be, who knows. only the time will tell. The risk is there since her parent is ill. We here in Finland have seen several cases of J175 and those dogs have been used for breeding before they have been diagnosed. And there are others who can have the illness but who are not examined so we have no idea if they are OK or not. But to use those dogs for breeding ??? We should get the DNA-test for this illness before we can make REALLY educated desitions about what dogs to use for breeding since this J175/retinopati can be found nearly everywhere. And since you guys do not examine your dogs (most don't, some do) how do we dare to come to Sweden to breed our bitches since we can be only guessing. And lottery and dog breeding should not be equals. There are not many totally blind dogs and most J175/retinopati (majority of dogs) are OK, but we SHOULD know about this more and we should know what the status in Sweden is. So why not do more exams ?? We don't have too many dogs around the world so if we have to stop bringing dogs from Sweden because we cannot be sure if we are getting a healthy dog that will limit our gene pool even more.Here is a nice hot topic for you to use in your blogg if you want."

O Joy! O Rapture! Äntligen kan jag komma åt alla delar av linneskåpet, vars inre varit förborgat undr åratal. Whi so? Jo, i samband med vår tsunamikatastrof för ett antal år sedan med översvämning, takläckor mm, blev garderober, skåp, sekretär, etc mer eller mindre åtkomliga. Lådor och dörrar svällde och gick inte att öppna. I våras lyckades jag få upp den sista dörren till linneskåpet. Men hyllorna gick ej att dra ut. Führerns geniala plan var då att låta skåpdörren stå lite på glänt under den varmaste årstiden, samtidigt som rumsfönstret (med myggnät!) stod öppet. Luftväxling skulle göra susen! Den fiffiga uträkningen lyckades. Nu gick eländet att dra ut och fram hoppar resultat av förspilld kvinnomöda i oändligt tal; virkade dukar, broderade servetter, små serveringsförkläden. antimakasser - ja, det vet inte yngre generationer vad det är... merparten ärvda persedlar, kan inte förmå mig till att göra mig av med dem. Inget var skadat eller förstört, men behöver självfallet tvätt och strykning. Hurra! Älskar sånt...
Dessutom har husfadern fixat ett prydligt porslinsskåp i gamla kylskåpets plats. Så nu kan jag plocka fram allt ärvt postelin från mormor och farmor - den fantastiska soppterrinen är från Hagaparken, dvs ursprungligen Haga slott, och gammal som fan. Jag kan fantisera om att Bellman därur blev serverad något stärkande... Förmodligen inte, men i alla fall...
Den gåsögevävda linneduken vet jag däremot bestämt att den har faktiskt lilla ja vävt under skenbart idylliska omständigheter, sam broderat ett prydligt "L" för Lisbeth. Ety för så gjorde man förr...
